I’m originally from Mexico but have been living in the United States for over 20 years. My educational journey as an immigrant in the U.S. has profoundly shaped my personal and professional practice, centering my work on the importance of authentic relationship building for collaboration, social justice change, and student success. My professional background includes 10 years of experience in various student affairs roles at higher education institutions, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Graduate Student Experience at the Lundquist College of Business, University of Oregon, where I get to influence the creation of student programming for student development and learning for student success. I enjoy contributing to areas that include: project implementation, teaching, career readiness, DEI work, and assessment.
