My working philosophy is rooted in social justice and the values found in the servant & transformational leadership styles that guide my work and team.

As a student affairs practitioner, I bow to do my best work and commit to further equity, access, and inclusion in higher education. Also, I commit to doing right and learning from my mistakes.

In my aspired leadership role I envision leading a team where diversity is valued and celebrated. A leader who is committed to learning and who leads with authenticity, empathy, commitment, consistency, equity, and social justice. I envision fostering a working culture where we recognize our privilege and use it to uplift people, to help them grow and thrive in their educational, professional, and personal goals, and not to demoralize.

My work centers on a culture of care and acts to pursue equity, access, retention, and the overall well-being of all students.
